The Formula 1 2020 season starts in the land Down Under. The Australian Grand Prix was held 84 times so far and Schumacher and Lex Davison are the most successful drivers at this motor race. It’s interesting that Formula One has a contract that allows them to host this event until 2025.

The Bahrain Grand Prix was the first Formula One Grand Prix held in the Middle East. It’s interesting that this Formula 1 race was skipped for a year due to the Bahrain protests in 2011. In 2019, the Mercedes team was the most successful one at this track – Lewis Hamilton ended at as number one while his colleague Bottas ended in second place. This 2020, we will have to wait and see whether they will do this again.

If you are looking for surprises at the F1 schedule 2020, then this has to be one of them. For the first time, people in Vietnam will have a chance to watch a Formula One race. What’s good to know is that there’s no special racing track built for this purpose – the event will be held at the streets of Hanoi (Hanoi Street Circuit). It will be very difficult to predict which Formula One driver will win the race because as we said before, this race is held for the first time.

If we take a close look at the winners, we can see that Lewis Hamilton really enjoys driving at this track because he has won this race six times so far.

Once again, it’s the famous Mercedes duo – Hamilton/Bottas – that have won this race in 2019. This 2020, Hamilton will definitely do his best to get the fifth win at this race.

The global popularity of Formula One has made the management of this event to consider adding new places on the schedule. In 2020, The Azerbaijan Grand Prix will be held for the fourth time. This is another city street circuit which this time is held in the capital city of Azerbaijan – Baku. There are just three winners at this race so far – Ricciardo back in 2017, Lewis Hamilton in 2018 and Valtteri Bottas in 2019. According to many experts, Bottas and Hamilton have great chances to repeat their success in 2020 too.

The Circuit Gilles Villeneuve is the place where Formula 1 races are held since 1978. Before that, the races were held at Circuit Mont-Tremblant. Both Schumacher and Hamilton have the most wins at this competition – 7. Obviously, Hamilton will have an opportunity to beat that score in 2020.

Once known as Grand Prix de l’ACF, The French Grand Prix is the most important motor racing event in this European country. It all started in 1906, but when it comes to Formula One it was 1950 when the first Formula One race in France was held. Since 2018, this race is held at the Circuit Paul Ricard, one of the most exciting tracks found in F1. It’s worth mentioning that Mercedes has won this race as a constructor for two years in a row – 2018 and 2019. Will they do that in 2020? We’ll just have to wait and see.

What makes the Red Bull Ring track one of the most thrilling tracks is the fact that the favorites rarely win here. Max Verstappen is the last winner at this race and he has won it twice so far.

Two years ago, Lewis Hamilton became the driver with the most wins at this race. Since his colleague Bottas won the last race, we can definitely expect a good performance of the Mercedes team in 2020 too.
