Liverpool Aim to Bounce Back After Burnley Defeat

 

Liverpool travel to White Hart Lane for the early kick-off in the Premier League, looking to get their season back on track, following a defeat at Burnley.

Having defeated Arsenal 4-3 away from home on the opening weekend of the season, Liverpool fans were excited by what they saw and their prospects for the season. However, any aspirations of winning the title, were brought back down to earth by a disappointing 2-0 defeat, to newly promoted Burnley. Jurgen Klopp’s team had all the ball but could not create a good, clear chance on the Burnley goal, resulting in long range shooting, which was often wide or over the target.

Tottenham needed a late winner by new signing, Victor Wanyama, to seal all three points at home, to Crystal Palace.
